Notepad is one of most used tool in Windows.
To know in which line or column there are present there is no status bar.
To enable status bar, there is a little Registry hack is needed.
Notepad with Status Bar
Just follow below steps to enable the status bar in notepad
1. Type Regedit in the Run Window
2. Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Notepad in the Registry window
3. Find and change the StatusBar key on the right-hand side to 1 instead of 0.
4. Close the Registry window and open the notepad.
